Masters Project: Accelera
Translating Irritation into Information

How does information in digital media develop? How can sufficient potential for generating information be ensured for the future so there will be further development of knowledge? A theoretical model on information design based on the principles of modularity, analogies and selforganisation and applied to an interactive installation.

The installation was exhibited at Merz Akademie Stuttgart in January 2003.

Lost Space
Lost Space is my midstudy project created in winter semester 2000/01. It was developed in a cooperation between me studying interactive media and Iris Benker studying photographie & video.

The project is dealing with fictive “time experience”. It enters into the phenomena of timeshift and nonlinearity in the course of time.

Schmaelzlicht
It is dark. A person enters the room and becomes a light source. Light and person form a unit. On its own the unit is unstable. It strives towards an interference, calls for another entity. A second person enters the room and merges with light. This unit is also looking for another entity. If they find each other they can create an interference.
